Internship in audit As an Audit Intern, you will support the Audit Team in conducting financial statement audits and other assurance services. Your main responsibilities include:

  1. Assisting in the audit process from planning, fieldwork, to completion in accordance with applicable auditing standards.

  2. Performing vouching and verification of documents, including invoices, bank transactions, payment evidence, and other supporting documents.

  3. Collecting, organizing, and reviewing financial data from clients.

  4. Participating in stock opname / inventory counts at client locations together with the audit team.

  5. Assisting in simple analytical procedures, such as trend analysis, ratio analysis, and financial comparison.

  6. Preparing audit working papers under the supervision of a senior auditor or supervisor.

  7. Organizing and maintaining audit documentation in accordance with the firm’s documentation system.

  8. Supporting communication with clients, including handling Provided by Client (PBC) requests.

  9. Coordinating with the audit team to ensure work is completed according to timelines and quality standards.

  10. Maintaining client confidentiality and complying with the professional code of ethics for public accountants.

Requisiti

Education & Competencies:

  1. Active undergraduate student majoring in Accounting or Financial Management, preferably in the 5th semester or above.

  2. Basic knowledge of:

    • Financial accounting

    • Financial statements

    • Fundamental auditing principles

  3. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  4. Basic understanding of taxation is an advantage.

Other Requirements:

  1. Willing to undertake an internship for a minimum of 3-6 months (flexible).

  2. Availability to start immediately is preferred.
